Our top pick
It’s been a while since one of the Big Two have had a reboot (OK, it’s only been a few months but that’s a long time in terms of DC and Marvel), and this time DC is taking a stab at retooling their multiverse. DC Universe Rebirth will be the company-wide summer event that will restart many of the company’s titles at new #1s.
“Rebirth is about focusing in on the core of the character and their respective universe,” says writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. “It brings back what has been lost, the legacy of the characters, the love and the hope of the DCU!”
Geoff Johns is the author for this portion of the series, and Gary Frank, among others, will head up the art.
