‘Bioshock’ collection’s reportedly leaked cover art looks amazing

A game ratings board in Taiwan has posted a page for Bioshock: The Collection, including a previously unreleased image of the box art. And that box art is sexy.

The leaked image is really small, but gives you a good idea of how beautiful it will look. Image courtesy of gamerating.org.tw.

With one of the infamous Bioshock lighthouses sticking out of the ocean in the center of the cover, a Bioshock logo in the vein of the original sits just above it. Above that floats what appears to be the floating city of Columbia from Bioshock Infinite. At the bottom of the cover, deep under the ocean, of course sits the city of Rapture from the first two games (and Infinite‘s DLC).

The juxtaposition of these three elements makes it really tempting for me to pick up these games again. If you somehow have avoided these games thus far, get this when it comes out.

Last month, an Australian ratings board leaked the existence of Bioshock: The Collection, which 2K has stayed silent about. Supposedly the collection will come out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Personally, I already own all of these games on PC, so unless they give them updated graphics or gameplay (PLEASE???) I will probably pass. But I really want them to release that cover art as a poster.

Credit where it’s due, Twitter user Lifelower found and posted this. Lifelower had previously posted a Taiwanese rating board posting for Rocket League on Xbox One before its official announcement.
